    Detailed process to get started Travel agency in Bangladesh


    Bangladesh has immense potential for the tourism industry. Apart from the existing agencies around the tourism sector of this country, new travel agencies are being developed. You must be licensed by the ministry concerned in the legal way of conducting a travel agency. How to get a travel agency license or register those rules are outlined here-

    Travel agency 

    1.      Currently, the 'Travel Agency Management System (TAMS)' has been introduced to carry out the registration and renewal activities of the registered and regulated travel agencies from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. The online activity started on January 1, 2018. To apply for all activities including registration of new agency and renewal of existing agency, you need to login to the following website.
    2.      Travel agency registration is approved for 5 years and it is renewable.
    3.      Apply in the prescribed form as per the completed form on the website. Submit the following documents along with the application form:
     Original copy of the Treasury Invoice deposit;
     Verified copy of updated trade license;
    TIN certificate;
    Holding tax payment receipt/home lease agreement and rental payment receipt in support of business address;
    Verified copy of Certificate of in Corporation, Article of Association / Partnership Agreement if Limited Company / Partnership Organization;
    Swear off non-judicial stamp of 300 TK.
    Bank certificate of minimum 10 lak Tk.
    Original copy of the Treasury invoice for the registration fee and VAT deposit.
    4.      2. Interested persons/organizations in the code assigned to the shipment by the Treasury, the Treasury shipment by submitting a copy of the application fee and the required documents in the prescribed form filed with the Ministry of the 15 (fifteen) days of the examination is to evaluate the accuracy.
    5.      . Application fees 5000 / - Taka 1-5301-0001-1816 code No. "Secretariat-Secretariat of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Firms and Companies Registration fees" in favor of the offer submitted.
    6.      . If found to be correct, the government will issue a declaration within 15 days for the prescribed registration fee and VAT submission.
    7.      Registration fees 50,000 / -Taka 1-5301-0001-1816 code No. "Secretariat-Secretariat of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Firms and Companies Registration fees" in favor of; VAT charges and -7.500 / - Taka 1-1133-0010-0311 calanamule Treasury code of Bangladesh Bank / Sonali Bank deposited.
    8.      After receiving the original copy of the Treasury invoice, it is recommended to verify it online.
    9.      If confirmed, a registration certificate is issued within fifteen days from the agency.
    10.  There are also specific application forms for travel agency renewal, office transfer permit and duplicate certificate issue on the Travel Agency Management System web site (www.regtravelagency.gov.bd).
